Ukrainian Short Film Selected for Tribeca X Awards 2025 Alongside Global Brands

The short film Along the Lines, directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Pavlo Buryak, has been shortlisted for the 2025 Tribeca X Awards, an official competition of the Tribeca Film Festival.
The film was created in collaboration with visual artist Masha Reva and Ukrainian design brand DIZA, and is nominated in the “Content Creator / Influencer” category.
Along the Lines is a poetic visual narrative exploring the interplay of form, space, and memory through objects that challenge perception and redefine everyday experiences.
The project reflects the design philosophy of DIZA Collective and was shot on 16mm film to enhance the tactile atmosphere of the story.
The film centers around Masha Reva’s artistic journey as she develops a new collection of rugs for DIZA. Her work merges disciplines, using object design to explore emotional and physical space. Reva is known for her multidisciplinary approach and serves as the creative director for the project.
DIZA is the first Ukrainian brand to reach the finals of the Tribeca X Awards, joining a group of global companies including Louis Vuitton, PlayStation Studios, Kate Spade New York, Oatly, British Airways Cityflyer, Arc’teryx, and Apple. The annual awards recognize cross-format projects at the intersection of cinema, art, and branding.
The jury for this year’s program includes industry figures such as Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston, entrepreneur Paris Hilton, producer Lena Waithe, and Apple TV+ creative executive Kyle Wasserman.
The winners will be announced during the Tribeca Festival in New York City, which runs from June 5 to 16, 2025.
The Tribeca Film Festival, founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal, aims to promote cultural and economic revitalization through storytelling across film, music, gaming, VR/AR, and visual arts.
In addition to Along the Lines, another Ukrainian project—War Through the Eyes of Animals, an anthology of seven shorts based on real events—will participate in the festival’s official program. The film includes contributions from around 500 filmmakers and is supported by the European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films and Save Pets of Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukrainian Film La Palisiada was selected as Ukraine’s official submission for the 2025 Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category.
